Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d)

As an AP Accountant you and your team handle all accounts payable on a day-to-day basis. As someone who likes to take responsibility you will have the chance to grow and leave your footprint in our Finance team.

• You prepare and manage German and international invoices on a day-to-day basis
• You handle German VAT as well as EU-VAT rules and apply them correctly, also on complex cases
• You process vendor account reconciliation and settlements
• Managing the payment run including workflow consolidation and reminders
• You communicate with suppliers, internal departments and Finance colleagues
• You will handle travel expenses, post bank statements and process confirmation letters
• Ideally you can temporarily support the AR accountants when needed

If you are excited about joining our team, here is what we are looking for in the ideal candidate:

• First experience in accounting and knowledge of European VAT
• Proactive personality with hands on mentality
• You take responsibility for your area of work and can communicate well with internal and external contacts
• MS Office Medium User Skills
• Preferably experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365
• Expertise: Accountant / Creditor Accountant
• You are proficient in English and ideally also in German
