Happy Work Anniversary to Alpha Trains’ Managing Director (Passenger) Thomas Schmidt
Thomas Schmidt – 20 Years
20 years at Alpha Trains… time to reminisce. Thomas has taken our Passenger business to a whole new level of success and looks back on two decades of developing it to be a part of Europe’s number 1 rolling stock lessor. Much has changed since Thomas joined Alpha Trains in August 2002 as the first Commercial Manager of the newly established Alpha Trains Europa GmbH, at first in London, then in 2003 in Cologne. He took over the position of Senior Commercial Manager, then was promoted to Commercial Director and finally became Managing Director of the Passenger division in 2013. We have got to know Thomas as a person who is greatly appreciated by our valued customers, by long-term business partners and by his dedicated team. We are deeply thankful for all the contributions that he has made over the years in making our company successful.
