For our office in Antwerp we are looking for a

FP&A Manager (f/m/d)

Alpha Trains has owned and leased locomotives and passenger trains for nearly 24 years. More than 140 employees of various nationalities are active across Europe. Our more than 1,000 locomotives and passenger trains are utilized in 22 European countries.

 
 

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a motivated FP&A Manager to join our dynamic financial team at Alpha Trains. The ideal candidate will bring reporting expertise, a finance or controlling background and strong communication skills to drive collaboration and success across our international team.



 
 

WHAT WOULD KEEP YOU BUSY

  • Providing a full overview/reporting on planning figures with a timeframe of 5 years ahead
  • Monthly reporting of actuals vs. budget/re-forecast with full explanation of the variances on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Building and maintaining financial reports based on Power BI and Query
  • Developing forecast and scenario models, lifetime value models etc.
  • Controlling of investment projects and related funds flows

The FP&A Manager reports to the Head of Controlling and works together with other departments to ensure qualitative performance.

 
 

WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM

If you are excited about joining our team, here is what we are looking for in the ideal candidate:

  • Brimming with several years of valuable experience in financial accounting and controlling
  • Experience in planning, forecasting and demand reporting is essential
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of BI tools, and if you have got experience with Power BI and Power Query, that is even better!
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, quick comprehension
  • Fluency in English. Bonus points if you can sprinkle in some Dutch, French or German
