Legal Counsel (f/m/d)
Alpha Trains has owned and leased locomotives and passenger trains for more than 23 years. More than 130 employees of various nationalities are active across Europe. Our more than 1,000 locomotives and passenger trains are utilized in 22 European countries.
WHAT WOULD KEEP YOU BUSY
In this role you are part of our Passenger Business unit with the following responsibilities:
- Provide legal support to the sales/commercial and engineering department
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts with rail transport companies, manufacturers, maintenance suppliers as well as banks and investors in German and English
- Handle ongoing business next to specific financing and leasing projects
- Cooperation with external law firms in Germany and abroad
WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM
- Successfully completed 1st and 2nd state law examinations with above-average results
- Experience in an international law firm or in a legal department of an international company
- Sound knowledge of contract and commercial law
- Experience in project and asset finance and public procurement law is an advantage
- Understanding of economic and technical contexts
- Ability to work in a team with good communicative and social skills
- Having an independent and solution-oriented way of working
- Proficiency in German and English
