Fleet Manager (f/m/d)
Alpha Trains has owned and leased locomotives and passenger trains for more than 23 years. More than 130 employees of various nationalities are active across Europe. Our more than 1,000 locomotives and passenger trains are utilized in 22 European countries.
WHAT WOULD KEEP YOU BUSY
- Monitor the locomotive fleet and provide technical support to our customers
- Manage the delivery and redelivery of locomotives to customers and to maintenance suppliers
- Analyse and monitor the performance of the fleet
- Identify and assess product improvements
- Provide support in case of accidents repairs and heavy maintenance as well as during contract negotiations
- Work closely together with the documentation management team
- Follow up changes in European and national regulation
WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM
- 5 years experience in technical procurement/project management
- Academic degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent through experience
- Five years of engineering experience within a manufacturing or operating party in the rail industry
- Able to resolve complex technical matters in a client-oriented and professional way
- Strong teamwork skills, able to build a trust relationship with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Fluent in Polish, English and German
